Dog-Owner Connections and Playdate Planning | RuffRuff Let's Play

Learn how public dog cards, anonymous counts, per-visit privacy, and separate check-in notifications work.

A guide to discovering parks, connecting with dog owners, and arranging planned meetups.

Dog-owner social apps can help people discover parks, connect with other owners, and plan meetups before they happen. Public park pages show dog totals with separate size and life-stage breakdowns; a puppy may also be large. Totals count dogs, not people. Dog cards are public by default, but never show the owner's name or profile links. The Privacy setting Show my dogs on the park list and its per-visit check-in toggle control whether the dog card appears; hidden dogs remain in totals and size/life-stage breakdowns. Location Sharing controls connection-only active check-in details separately.

RuffRuff combines park discovery and social features. Public park pages show dog totals, separate size and life-stage breakdowns, and dog cards by default; owners can hide cards in Privacy or for one visit. Tell my connections when I check in is an independent Notifications setting. Check with a park directly for current conditions or quieter visiting times.
