Can I host a free event?

Yes. Free events and RSVP collection are available on the Free plan. Pro adds unlimited paid events, attendee access, and additional visibility tools.

How do paid event tickets work?

You choose the ticket price. At checkout, RuffRuff adds a separate platform service fee for the attendee. Stripe securely processes the payment and sends the ticket proceeds through its payout system.

How do hosts get paid?

Hosts connect a bank account through Stripe before publishing a paid event. Stripe handles payment processing and deposits ticket proceeds according to the host's Stripe payout schedule. RuffRuff does not use PayPal for event payouts.

Can I charge per person or per dog?

Yes. Paid events can be priced per person or per dog, so the checkout matches the way your event is organized.

Can someone register more than one dog?

Yes. Attendees can select the dogs they are bringing. For per-dog events, the ticket price is applied to each selected dog.

Who can host an event on RuffRuff?

Local dog owners, trainers, walkers, sitters, groomers, rescues, pet businesses, and other community organizers can create events that bring dog people together.
